Examples of  Mixed Media work that I am exploring at the moment exploring 'Fusion' - combining Felt with 'Gesso' in order create ceramic like affects, transforming that which is soft and pliable into a hard firm object that can be free-standing, a means of fusing feathers, etc into the surface and creating a surface ready for drawing with graphite, or exploring the contrasts of soft v hard. The possibilities are endless as I continue to investigate the potential of working with this Medium in conjunction with from felt in readiness for the one-day workshop that I shall be running at the 2019 Scottish Felters Summer School in Dunblane on Wednesday 7th August.
