except Sundays, featuring a selection of contemporary Art Felts by me and invited artists Ann Ross, Mairi Campbell, and Jenny Mackay - The culmination of three years' work.
August 1st - 5th Scottish Felters Summer School at Braeport Community Centre, Dunblane - offering a
choice of 10 different workshops, including workshops tutored by me - 'One-piece Nuno Garments', an intuitive approach to creating wearables (2-days), small group; 'Illuminating Felt' (1-day), an exploration of Translucence v Opacity for a lamp project; 'Sculptural Felting (2-days), exploring a variety of low relief and free-standing felting techniques. October 1st - 30th 'Water Marks', themed exhibition by the Scottish Felters at Birnam Arts Centre. Open daily 10.00am - 5.00pm, and in the evenings when there is a Concert on. Sunday 9th October, 2.00 - 4.00pm 'Meet and Greet' and 'Drop-in Felting Session for all!
October 19th 'Drawing and Painting with Wool', Day School with the Ayrshire Embroiderers Guild at the Community Centre in Caeraverock Road, Prestwick, when we shall be using needle-felting and wet-felting techniques.

2018 'Branching out' Exhibition at Birnam Arts Centre, Dunkeld, Perthshire: 2nd October - 30th October, open daily 10.00am - 5.00pm. Admission Free. Latest work by 15 members of the Scottish Felters, where they have been exploring ideas literally and metaphorically around the theme of 'Trees' and related subjects - lots to admire and intrigue!
Additional attraction: Saturday 6th October, 2.00 - 4.00pm: Felting Taster Session and Demonstrations of felting, and a chance to View the Exhibition as well.

Sunday April 14th - 19th, 2019: 'Inspired to Felt'- A unique opportunity to explore ideas based on Gartmore's Architecture and its natural surroundings, set in the scenic countryside of the Trossachs, and translate them through a variety of felting techniques into projects of your choice.
Sunday. May 12th - 17th: 'Fashion Felt Accessories'. Join me in a week of pure felting magic, when we can have time to create a variety of projects, designed specifically to augment your wardrobe. Headwear, jewellery, sculptural scarves and shawls. bags and covers for tablets and phones - All are possible, and anything else you can think of!
Sunday 1st - 6th September: 'Fancy Feet and Magic Mitts'. Discover the delights of making your own cosy boots and unique slippers, as well as creating warm mittens and snazzy wristlets
in preparation for the Winter days ahead.
Sunday 6th - 11th October: 'Felt Like an Artist'. Discover the Artist in you. Inspired by the works of such artists as Klimt, Wundertwasser, Van Gogh, Cezanne, etc. we will explore ideas and their developments and use them as a basis for a variety of felting projects of your choice.
Sunday 27th October - 1st November: 'Felt Figures Great and Small'. A unique opportunity to discover and create large-scale and small-scale animals and figures from fairy tales and myths, using a wide variety of wet and dry-felting methods.
